Last week, on May 3 2008 i saw the new movie
Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay. Much to my dismay, the movie was not as good as i hoped. The time line of the movie was in complete whack. The intention of the timeline was to start off where
Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle left off, but it mainly failed. It succeed with them leaving to chase the girl that left for 10 days but harold couldn't wait. Yet the movie failed in many more ways. One was that as clearly stated in the movie it was past the year 2004 thus causing it to be past 2001 which is one big cause comes from the 9/11 attacks. Another thing is that Harold's has an awesome job because he requested the week off and he apparently now owns the place they live in. Another thing is that kumar's old girlfriend who he broke up awhile ago meet somebody else and is engaged .
Other than the timeline change, the movie was almost as legendary as the first one with the other things occurring in the movie. The imagery was very good and the many new ideas shown with the "bottomless" party at raza's with raza having much of today's technology which is very confusing.
Overall, i still loved the movie and highly recommend seeing it but be warned that you will have to suspend belief on the timeline and a few other things
